50th Anniversary of Twin Otter

The Twin Otter has been a familiar aircraft in the Northwest Territories over the past 50 years due to its ability to provide reliable service under challenging northern conditions.  Viking Air is the type certificate holder for the DHC-6 Twin Otter and is manufacturing new updated versions of this aircraft. 

To honour the 50th anniversary of the Twin Otter, Viking Air is embarking on a celebration tour travelling to communities in Nunavut, Northwest Territories, and Yukon.  The Yellowknife stop on the tour will coincide with the 2015 Midnight Sun Fly In and Viking Air is generously sponsoring our Saturday evening dinner and entertainment.
