Online registration for the 2023 Midnight Sun Fly In is now open for pilots and passengers! Advance registration is necessary to enable the host society to plan for aircraft docking/parking, catering, and other essential elements of the event.
Registration provides each registrant with access to all events throughout the Fly In weekend including Thursday meet-and-greet and bush pilot slideshow, Friday and Saturday evening dinners and entertainment, and various other activities. Each registrant also receives a Midnight Sun Fly In ball cap. Due to stringent liquor licensing laws in the Northwest Territories, the presence of children in the licensed area during our evening events may be limited. Children are welcome to attend and participate in Fly In activities and events but will be subject to restrictions during licensed hours. Children must be registered as passengers or non-flying participants; separate child registration is not available. |
Registration FeeThe 2023 registration fee is $185 per person and must be paid online at the time of registration. Multiple registrations can be submitted in a single transaction but all registration information must be completed for each registrant. This information is necessary for administrative and safety purposes. |
Early Bird DrawAnyone who has registered and paid their registration fee by June 15 will be entered into an Early Bird draw for one or more exciting northern prizes. |
Planning for Parking...Floatplane pilots are particularly encouraged to register early. The host society anticipates increased participation in the 2023 Fly In, so advance planning is necessary to arrange and assign suitable docking locations near the event site.
Pilots of amphibious aircraft may express a preference for docking near the site of parking at the Yellowknife airport but assignments will depend on availability. Parking for wheel aircraft will be at the airport. |
